Give the Joy of New Discoveries!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Are you making your list and checking it twice? This year, go beyond the ordinary and give a one-of-a-kind experience that will light up your loved one's face with joy and the thrill of new discoveries.

My Grandma Lucy exudes joy as she experiences the thrill of a fresh snowfall a century ago.

If you have a family history enthusiast in your life, look no further for the perfect gift. What could be better than finally busting through a brick wall or learning about new methods and sources that go far beyond what is easily available online?

A gift certificate for a personal consultation offers the opportunity to take genealogy research and family history discoveries to the next level.

This two-hour session can take two forms depending upon preference and location:

  1. In-person coaching: We schedule a one-on-one meeting in which we work side-by-side. We will focus on one or two "brick wall" ancestors and create a research plan using both online and offline sources and repositories. This coaching session is akin to personal tutoring and can really open up new avenues for research and increase the individual's skill level in a short amount of time.

  2. Research planning consultation: The recipient of your gift certificate will send me their information (for example, a link to their family tree on Ancestry.com) and most pressing research question. I will evaluate the existing research and then create a prioritized plan with links to sources so that they can carry out the research on their own schedule to make exciting new discoveries.

Regularly a $90 value, you can snag a holiday special rate of $75 through December 15th! The consultation can be scheduled anytime during 2020.

To order, simply fill out the contact form here. I'll be in touch within 24 hours with confirmation and payment information.

This year, give a meaningful gift that will bring joy and many discoveries in the New Year!
